QUEENSLAND
Rockhampton Aero Club
Day started - 8.30am wit
Participants - 75 children & families from the Starlight Children's Foundation, Camp Quality and Ronald McDonald House.
Flights - C172s up to a PC12 did runs from Rockhampton to Great Keppel Island and back.
Other activities - The local Harley Davidson club, a lunch buffet and a static display of a Singapore ADF Super Puma Helicopter with F16 and MIG flypasts. MORE
RAAF Base Amberley
Day started - officially at 10am. Participants to arrive at 9.30am.
Participants - 220 childr
Flights - Two trips in a C17 Globemaster.
Other activities - F111 & C17 static display, Bushmaster vehicles, fire trucks, guard ‘puppies' with a lunch buffet. MORE
NEW SOUTH WALES
Schofields Flying Club
Day started - 8am for briefings
Participants - 120 childr
Flights - A series of flights from 9am onwards, travelling north to the coast in a fleet of 10.
Other activities - RAAF 28 Squadron Balloon display, jumping castle and Santa who arrived in Police air wing chopper at lunchtime. MORE

Royal Victorian Aero Club, Peninsula Aero Club, Lilydale Airport, Latrobe Valley Aero Club
Day started - 9am briefing at Moorabbin, Lilydale, Tyabb and Latrobe Valley.
Participants - 151 participants from the Starlight Children's Foundation, the Good Shepherd Foundation and HeartKids Australia.
Flights - Departing from Moorabbin - 29 aircraft (included 21 aircraf
Participating aircraft ranged from a TriPacer to Nanchangs to a King Air.
Other activities - Aerobatic displays by Australia's premier aerobatic pilot, Pip Borrman, a Harvard and Mustang; static displays, petting zoo, jumping castle and buffet lunch. MORE
