Local event organisers partnership

Without the local organisers, FunFlight would simply not exist. The concept of FunFlight is to empower people and organisations to create an event in their own, local community.

For us, it is important that the kids have a day away from their day-to-day worries, and it is up to the local clubs to decide what their local FunFlight day looks like. Some take the kids oup for a 30 minutes joyflight, and have a BBQ on their return, others create a whole day at their aero club, with lots of ground activities, such as a jumping castle, petting zoo, fire engine, local Harley club, etcetera.

Some of the aero clubs ask one of the service organisations, such as Rotary or Lions, to assist, and most will go out to their own community for sponsorship of the day. Think about the BBQ, some extra portable toilets, perhaps a PA installation, extra fencing, a clown, magician, balloon artist and face painting; all things that seem to be freely given by the community to support this brilliant day.
