FunFlight is about creating a day where seriously ill kids, their siblings and their parents, do not have to think about their next hospital visit, their next chemo treatment or their next hospital visit. The smiles on the faces of the kids do say it all and it is an out of the ordinary experience for any pilot to be involved in this day of fun and excitement for special kids and their families. For the '09 event, FunFlight is looking for Aero Clubs that are interested in organising their own local FunFlight event and for pilots that want to be part of FunFlight's Pilot Team.
We are also interested in talking to corporate sponsors who are interested in becoming involved in this fantastic community event. This high profile event will not only provide a fun day for the kids, but will raise money for such organisations as the Starlight Foundation, CanTeen and AngelFlight, as well as local charities chosen by the aero clubs.
