Starlight Children's Foundation

Since 1988, the Starlight Children's Foundation has brightened the lives of seriously ill and hospitalised children, and their families, by delivering innovative programs that restore the fun, laughter and joy that serious illness takes away. Starlight's programs include Starlight Express Rooms, Starlight Fun Centres, Starlight's Wish Granting program, Starlight Express Van and Starlight Escapes.

Thanks to FunFlight more Starlight children and their families have been able to access and benefit from Starlight's Escapes Program, which provides children and their families with some much needed time out. Starlight is pleased to be involved with FunFlight for the second year running, after having taken part in the first ever FunFlight in May of last year.

As FunFlight takes off nationally this year, Starlight and FunFlight are excited to be working together to reach more seriously ill children and their families in remote and regional areas across Australia.

Local Aero Clubs

Local Aero Clubs around the country are involved in FunFlight. FunFlight would like to recognise the 2008 participating Aero Clubs who have each contributed huge amounts of time and effort in creating a unique community event:

Ronald McDonald House

Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is an independent, non-profit organisation, that seeks to help seriously ill children and their families lead happier, healthier lives. Their core work involves supporting several children's programs across Australia including: Ronald McDonald Houses, Ronald McDonald Learning Program,  Ronald McDonald Family Rooms, RMHC Cord Blood Bank, Ronald McDonald Family Retreats, Ronald McDonald Family Facilities and Ronald McDonald Grants.

RMHC were founded in memory of McDonald's creator, Ray Kroc, who believed in charitable works as a way of putting something back into the community. McDonald's Australia continues to fund all administrative and management costs of Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Camp Quality

Camp Quality is a non profit organisation that is committed to bringing hope and happiness to every child living with cancer, their families and communities through ongoing quality recreational, educational, hospital and financial support programs.

HeartKids Australia

HeartKids is unique in that it is the only organisation in Australia solely focussed on all aspects of chidlren's heart disease. HeartKids are a registered Health Charity and have full tax concession status from the ATO. HeartKids offers support to HeartKids and to families of children with heart disease, be it congenital (born with) or acquired.
