On Saturday 12 June, at 5pm, Channel 7 (and its associated channels) will show The Guide to the Good Life, with a segment about FunFlight and its volunteers.

Andrew Gaze, the presenter, interviews one of the families, and a number of volunteers during a mini FunFlight event at the Peninsula Aero Club.

On 8 May, the Channel 7 program 'The Guide to the Good Life' filmed a segment for the show at the Peninsula Aero Club at Tyabb. The show aired on 12 May.

We had invited 40 passengers from HeartKids, and the volunteer pilots from the PAC took them up, and showed them Phillip Island, Western Port Bay, the Mornington Peninsula and Port Phillip Bay from the air.

Andrew Gaze, the program presenter, interviewed a couple of families and FunFlight volunteers.

FunFlight in Singapore

FunFlight Australia has been approached by the Lions Club of Singapore, with the aim to investigate whether they can organise a FunFlight event this year.

FunFlight has a relationship with Singapore through the Singapore Air Force, who has been involved in the Rockhampton event in the last couple of years. The feedback from the participating Air Force personel has been overwelming, and we are looking forward to working with the Singaporese to make the first international FunFlight come happen.

Paul Phelan, the well know aviation journalist, spent the 2009 National FunFlight day together with Michael Loccisano and Michel Verheem, visiting 3 aero clubs in country Victoria. His account of the day was writen up in the Aviation Advertiser.
